This Meco electric grill is UL-listed, 1650-watt heating element (Canada: 1500-watt,CUL-listed heating element) plugs into standard household outlet. Requires minimum of 15 amps. This bbq electric grill features a removable thermostat control with a low-medium-high setting, a reflector pan that directs heat to the cooking surface, double hood vents for better draft control, interlocking grill hood and bowl, and a wooden hood handle to stay cool. Didn\'t last long

I thought the way it fit together we a bit disappointing, but I really liked the way it grilled until it broke. I had only used it about 10 times when the \"cord unit\" stopped working. Now I\'m in the process of trying to find a replacement part. Maybe it was just a fluke. I really do like the general concept of the portable outdoor grill.

Summer Grillin'

Compact, portable, packs high temp for fast cooking. My hubby actually cooks alot more since we got this. We use it several times a week. No heating up the house, easy cleanup, quick grilling. We had the Meco 9210 but like this one better. More attractive with about same grilling capacity. A top hinge would be a nice addition.

Love this grill

This grill is of better quality than most others in the same category. It heats up quickly and gets very hot. It is great for smoking as well.

Save Your Money !

I would NOT recommend this grill- the design is wrong. The electric unit is secured with screws and nuts so you can't clean under it without disassembling the entire heating element mounting. Also the grease has nowhere to go after it drains into the base.It is a useless grill by it's design. Said it had a "locking" cover--I sure wouldn't want to trust it. It's almost dangerous if you wanted to "lock and go". Wonder who engineered it? [...]

Cooks Unevenly, Bulky, Difficult to lockcarry
